In this PotomacBeads tutorial you will learn how to create a bezel for a Potomac Crystal Rivoli that will sparkle out from the center of an elegant Snow Day Snowflake Ornament. 1. Put eighteen 8/0 seed beads onto the thread. Thread through all of the beads 2 more times. Pick up an 11/0, a 15/0 and another 11/0. Sew back through the same 8/0 the thread is currently coming out of. Add another group of seed beads to the same 8/0. Pass the needle through 3 of the beads in the loop and add 2 more groups of seed beads. Continue in this pattern around the loop. 2. Watch the Snow Day Snowflake Ornament tutorial to follow along with Anna as she shows you how to create the classic beaded ornament using a Herringbone stitch. 3. Cut a few inches of 20ga tarnish-resistant round wire. Bend the wire into a loop on both ends in opposite directions to form an S shape. Trim the ends. Thread the end of the S-hook through the top seed bead to hang your beaded ornament. The Snow Day Snowflake Ornament is a fun project that uses mainly seed beads. It would make an adorable gift. You can also use this design as a component piece to create some beautiful wintry DIY jewelry.
