    Quick Project Steps

Creating beautiful wire jewelry is easier than you think with this PotomacBeads tutorial. The Fire Cracker Wire ring is a great way to explore the world of wire working.
Cut 5 pieces of 5 inches of 18ga square wire to make a size 6 ring. Add another inch for each size up. Cut 5 inches of 21ga half round wire, curve the wire by hand so the rounded side is up. Wrap the 21ga wire four times around the square wire with the coils beside each other. Flatten out the wire with pliers. Trim the ends. Slide the coils down so there is an inch of wire at the end. Do the same thing on the other end.
Watch the Fire Cracker Wire ring tutorial to see how to coil the wire to design the flourish of swirls.
Add a Potomac crystal bicone to the center wire. Cut the wire down to the coils and use pliers to make a tiny coil in the end. Hide the end in the large swirls.
This Fire Cracker Wire ring is an adjustable ring. You can use the design to make a band that you can then get creative with to add stones of your choice.
