Gemstone Waterfall Necklace Tutorial
The Designer’s suggested colors and materials:
  • Italian silver-coated cable chain (3 feet)
  • 24 gauge silver-plated wire (Sterling silver wire is also suitable)
  • Faceted mixed quartz briolettes (excluding amethyst and carnelian)
  • Small rondelles (~3.5mm) for highlighting the briolettes
  • Basic jewelry-making tools: bead mat, wire cutters, ruler/yardstick, and pliers

    Gather your materials including the chain, wire, briolettes, and rondelles.
    Cut a 3-foot length of the cable chain.
    Use the 24 gauge wire to attach briolettes to the chain at equal intervals.

    Continue adding gemstones and highlights as desired along the length of the chain.
    Finalize the necklace design, ensuring all wire ends are securely tucked.

    Only problem I had was items being out of stock when there were two patterns I wanted to buy complete with all supplies. I needed to search for a substitution.  Also — when there is a pattern shown with multiple bead color options, there is not a supply list for them.
