Quick Project Steps

If you're looking for a quick and easy earring project, look no further than this PotomacBeads Tutorial. Allie has designed these Mercury Earrings using only a few simple supplies. In no time at all, you'll have a pair of funky art deco earrings to show off!
Put a stop bead on your thread. Pick up an AVA bead from the outside, add an EVA bead in so the point is also at the top. Add a tubelet and bring the thread back up the second holes of the EVA and AVA beads. Add a tubelet on the exterior sides of the AVA bead. Bring the thread back through the base tubelet.
Repeat the same steps as above but in the opposite direction to make the mirrored side of the Mercury earring design.
Use tubelets and seed beads to line the exterior edge. Put a wireguard on the top for the earwire.
These Mercury earrings are so much fun to make, and they can also be used as a link in a bracelet or necklace. They’re the perfect gift for any occasion! PotomacBeads has a wide selection of beads and findings to choose from, so you can create earrings that are perfect for any occasion. And with their easy-to-follow instructions, you'll have your earrings finished in no time!
