It's that time of year again! Time to get out the holiday decorations and get into the Christmas spirit. What better way to do that than with a pair of traditional Tannenbaum earrings? These earrings are so easy to make and only require a few supplies. So gather up your materials and let's get started!
Put a stop bead on .006 thread with a size 10 needle. Thread on twelve green seed beads and sew back through the first nine beads to form a box. Pick up another nine beads and sew through the last three beads from the box. Add another nine beads to create the next box. Make one more box.
Watch the Tannenbaum earrings tutorial to see how Allie adds on to the boxes to form the tree shape and then adds in red seed beads to embellish the tannenbaum earring pattern.
When the tree is created, add a wire guard to the top, reinforce it by threading through it another time. Bring the ending thread back down to the starter thread and burn the ends off. Put on your earwire.

I love everything about Potomac beads, except for the dragon fire white thread. I bought the time before it was a 250 spool and I bought 5 pound because the 6 pound I had was just humongous you've done some changing with your threads since the last time I bought some. I fell and broke my right arm and my rotator cuff and wasn't able to be for quite a while. I just pulled out the 5 pound white thread. I bought the time before and tried it. I don't even think I could bezel with it. The 6 pound does beautiful. I took one arm span of thread off the spool and I won't be using it. It's a shame because I truly love yours thread.
