Quick Project Steps

PotomacBeads tutorial brings you this simple design that’s great for beginners. The Bonnet bracelet is a dainty looking bracelet made with just a few materials. Perfect for any occasion, from casual to dressy, you’ll love showing off your handiwork.
1. Using 2 needles on .006 beading thread, add a wire guard and clasp ring. Pick up an 11/0 seed bead on each needle, then criss-cross through the first hole in a silky bead with each needle. Reinforce the beads by threading back through all of them with the right hand needle.
2. Make a pattern with the two different seed beads to add to the side of the silky beads. Watch the Bonnet bracelet tutorial to see how Allie adds the quarter tilas to the design.
3. When you’ve reached the desired length, sew through another wire guard and clasp with both needles. Tie the two thread ends together. Use a thread burner to burn off one end. Thread the other end through the last silky bead and then burn off the end.
The Bonnet bracelet is beautiful and fun to create. It makes a great last minute gift for anyone who loves jewelry. The colors are very pretty and they are easy to change out if you want to.
