Add a stop bead and leave a 6-inch tail for the clasp. String one 8/0 seed bead (this starts your zigzag base). Continue adding 8/0s, one for each fringe unit you want in your bracelet.
Add First Fringe (Zigzag Begins):
From the first 8/0, pick up: 2–5 11/0 seed beads (varied). 1 focal bead (e.g., dagger, leaf, or drop). Optional: 1–2 seed beads after the focal. Skip the last bead, go back up through all the beads and into the 8/0. Pull tight – this forms your first fringe.
Continue Zigzag Pattern:
Add the next 8/0 seed bead to the base row. Create another fringe (same method), mixing: Colors and shapes: flower beads, crystals, loops of seed beads, etc. Vary lengths and arrangements for texture and flow. Continue: Add 8/0 → add fringe → repeat.
Get Creative with Loops:
Instead of a bead, try a fringe made only of seed bead loops (e.g., 5× 11/0s). Add pico trims by ending a fringe with 3–5 tiny seed beads.
Finish Bracelet Base:
Stop when you reach your desired length. Reinforce tension: pull the thread tight after every few units to keep the zigzag aligned.
Add a Button Loop:
At the end of the bracelet: Pick up a mix of 8/0s and 11/0s to form a loop just large enough to fit your button. Go back through the last 8/0 bead and reinforce the loop 2–3 times.
