    Quick Project Steps

Gather Materials: SS16 Montees. 8/0 and 11/0 seed beads. Dragon Thread (6-8 feet). Size 10 or 11 beading needle. Wire guards (optional, for attaching chains). Create the "O" Shape: String 8/0 seed beads to form 10 right-angle weave (RAW) units in a loop. Secure the loop by stitching through the top and bottom beads of each RAW unit. Add one 8/0 seed bead between each bottom unit and between the top units to stabilize the circle. Embellish the "O": Attach Montees diagonally across the RAW units using 11/0 seed beads. Sew securely through the Montees and RAW units to ensure stability. Create the "X" Shape: Start with six RAW units in a straight line. Taper the ends by reducing the number of beads in the last units. Add Montees to the "X": Attach Montees diagonally across the RAW units, using the same method as for the O shape. Ensure all Montees are positioned evenly and securely. Connect the X and O: Use square stitch to join the bottom of the X to the side of the O. Reinforce the connection by stitching multiple times through the beads. Add Wire Guards: Attach wire guards to the top of the pendant for secure connections to chains or earring findings. Sew through the wire guards multiple times for durability. Finalize the Pendant: Tighten all threads, trim excess, and check for symmetry. Add a chain, earring hooks, or use as a centerpiece in a bracelet.
