SuperDuo Star Pendant Tutorial
The Designer’s suggested colors and materials:
  • Super Duo beads in various colors (opaque blue, opaque red, crystal lila luster, copper luster)
  • 11/0 seed beads in colors like opaque cobalt and Duracoat silver, crystal labrador full
  • Size 10 English beading needle
  • Wildfire beading thread (0.006 or 0.008)
  • Scissors
  • Bead mat for easy bead pickup

    Quick Project Steps

    Prepare your bead mat with SuperDuo beads and 11/0 seed beads.
    Cut about 30 inches of beading thread, threading your size 10 beading needle.
    Start without a stop bead, holding the end of your thread.
    String one 11/0 seed bead, followed by two SuperDuo beads, repeating until you have ten SuperDuos, all separated by 11/0 seed beads.
    Tie the ends in a square knot, leaving a small tail for finishing later.
    Transition to the top hole of the SuperDuo bead to start the next part of the pattern.
