    Quick Project Steps

Prep thread & stop bead: Cut ~5 ft of size 8 DragonThread, add a stop bead, and thread a size 11 needle. Gather RounDuos, PieDuos, 15/0 seed beads, Delicas, and a cup-button clasp. Start the first unit: Enter RounDuo hole #2 (leave hole #1 empty). Pick up 2×15/0, add a PieDuo from the “pie center” toward the “crust,” then add 15/0–Delica–15/0 and return through the PieDuo. Add 2×15/0 and pass back through the same RounDuo to anchor the unit. Keep tension snug. Add Delicas on the RounDuo: For each RounDuo, place one Delica between the two holes on top and one on bottom: down through hole #2, add a Delica; up through hole #1, add a Delica, then circle to secure. Build the base to length: Repeat the sequence: 2×15/0 → RounDuo → 2×15/0 → PieDuo (15/0–Delica–15/0 across its top), then back through the previous RounDuo. Continue until you reach bracelet length. Attach the button end: Exiting the last RounDuo, add 3×15/0, 1 Delica, 2×15/0, go up through the cup button, add 15/0–Delica–15/0, back down through the button, add 2×15/0, and stitch down through the Delica to form a neat V. Reinforce this path 1–2 times (ensure the 15/0 won’t slip through the button’s hole). Make the loop on the other end: At the opposite end, add 3×15/0, 1 Delica, ~35×15/0 (size to your button), then back down through the Delica. Reinforce the loop carefully—don’t miss a bead—add 3×15/0, and return into the RounDuo. Edge the right side with seed-bead peaks: From a Delica at the top edge, add 6×15/0 and pass to the next Delica; repeat along the entire side to frame the PieDuos. (Use 5×15/0 instead of 6× for a tighter V.) Edge the left side to match: Turn and repeat 6×15/0 between Delicas all the way back down the other edge to mirror the frame. Crisscross the center with Montees: Step up to the top Delica and stitch 15/0–Delica–Montee–Delica–15/0 across to the opposing Delica. Work back-and-forth between Delicas down the bracelet; this gently pulls the peak rows inward and centers the Delicas on the RounDuos. Then come back up doing the opposite passes to complete the X’s. Reinforce & tidy the clasp area: Before finishing, travel up through the RounDuo and around the loop once more, and tie off the starter thread neatly. Then continue down the opposite side to connect into the other holes of each Montee where needed and set the crisscross firmly. Weave in, knot, and burn: Weave to the back, sew under a bridge thread, make a small weaver’s knot (loop through twice), snug down, repeat once or twice, and burn/trim tails. Don’t force passes through tight 15/0s, thin glass can crack.
