    Quick Project Steps

Prepare Your Thread: Cut about 3 feet of DragonThread and thread a single needle. Create the First Box: String 12 x 11/0 seed beads. Form a loop and stitch through to create the first right-angle weave box. Add Additional Boxes: Add 9 more 11/0 beads for each new box. Share 3 beads from the previous box to connect them. Build a total of 4 linked boxes. Insert Pearls: Add: 15/0 seed bead – 3mm pearl – 15/0 seed bead into each box. Secure by stitching through the box beads and reinforcing tension. Fill the Gaps: Stitch additional 11/0 seed beads into empty spaces between boxes for stability and clean shaping. Add Outer Embellishments: Attach 2mm bicones around the outer 11/0s using: 15/0 seed bead – bicone – 15/0 seed bead combinations. Go all the way around the outer edges. Create Bottom Drop: Attach: 15/0 – pearl – pearl – 15/0 – 11/0 – Briolette – 11/0 – 15/0 – pearl. Form a dangle under the lowest box, and secure by stitching through again for strength. Reinforce Structure: Pass through all beads and embellishments again to tighten and stabilize the earring. Add Wire Guard: Sew up to the top. Attach a wire guard through the topmost 11/0 beads for hanging. Finish: Reinforce the wire guard. Tie off the thread using bridge thread knots. Burn off excess and attach earwires.
