The Sapphire Sparkle Bracelet tutorial teaches how to create an elegant, multi-component bracelet using Delicas, seed beads, crystal drops, and 8mm chatons. Each unit is built around a central chaton using beaded bezels, formed from netting and right-angle weave, and accented with delicate drop beads. The components are then connected seamlessly to create a flexible, sparkling bracelet. The tutorial walks viewers through the process of bezeling a crystal, reinforcing thread paths for security, linking each unit, and finishing with a clasp. The design is customizable and ideal for intermediate beaders interested in component construction and clean finishing techniques.

    Quick Project Steps

Start the Bezel Base: Pick up 16 Delicas in groups of four (4 sets): 4 Delicas → 11/0 → 4 Delicas → 11/0 ... Form a ring and pass through all beads again to reinforce. Begin Bezel Netting: Between each Delica group: Add 1 × 11/0, creating a netted inner ring. Pull thread tight to form a rounded bezel shape. Insert the Chaton: Drop the 8mm chaton into the center (pointed side down). Pull thread tight to secure the crystal in place. Go around the inner ring again to reinforce. Reinforce and Adjust: Stitch through all beads again to tighten the bezel. Make sure the crystal sits snug and the shape is symmetrical. Add Drop Beads: Exit from a Delica on the edge. Add: 1 × drop bead → 1 × 11/0 → back through drop bead → back into base. Add 4 drop beads per unit, mirrored for symmetry. Add Right-Angle Weave Loops: Exit from the side of a component. Add: 3 × 11/0 seed beads → loop around → back through side Delica. This forms a looped bridge to connect the next unit. Create Additional Components: Repeat Steps 1–6 to create more bezels. Stitch new components through the RAW loops to join them together. Add the Clasp: Exit the last component’s end bead. Add: 2 × 11/0 → clasp → 2 × 11/0 → back through base. Stitch through this loop 2–3 times to reinforce. Secure and Trim Thread: Stitch through surrounding beads and tie half-hitch knots. Use a thread burner or scissors to trim excess thread.
