AVA Star Tutorial
The Designer's suggested colors and materials:
  • AVA Beads (5 per star)
  • 2x3 mm Potomac Crystal Rondelles (21 per star) or 3 mm bicones
  • Miyuki 11/0 Seed Beads
  • .006 Wildfire Beading Thread
  • Size 10 English Beading Needle

    Quick Project Steps

    Gather materials: 5 AVA Beads, 21 Potomac Crystal Rondelles, Miyuki 11/0 Seed Beads, thread, and a needle.
    Start with threading 30 inches of Wildfire Beading Thread through a Size 10 needle.
    Create the inner circle by threading 10 crystals separated by an 11/0 seed bead, tying the thread into a circle.
    Add AVA Beads around the circle, ensuring proper orientation and placement for the star shape.
    Decorate the sides of each AVA Bead with 11/0 seed beads, enhancing the star’s dimension and sparkle.
    Complete the design by adding a loop with an extra crystal rondelle for hanging the star, securing the thread ends with knots and a thread burner.
