Tie 16 of the delica beads into a rounded circle on about 2.5 feet of thread. Using a size 12 needle, sew through about the first 3 beads. Then switch to the Peyote stich to add 8 seed beads. Continue adding more rows around the outside. Add a crystal and wire guard to the top.
Start with a new piece of thread for the bottom bezel. Repeat the design to make a base for the rivoli crystal to sit in. Watch the Corkscrew Crystal tutorial to see detailed, step-by-step instructions. Finish up the peaks around the outside of the bottom piece.
Use a right angle weave stitch to connect the two pieces. Add the earwire to the top being careful to keep the design to the front.
