    Quick Project Steps

Prepare Thread and Clasp: Cut ~5 feet of thread and thread a needle on each end. Add: 15/0 – crystal – 15/0, then the cup button clasp (one needle through each hole). Add 3 × 15/0 on both needles. Join with 2 stacked spacers (both needles go through in the same direction). Begin the Base Row: On each needle: add 3 × Halo beads (gunmetal). Use one needle to pass through: 1st hole of Halo → DiscDuo → 2nd hole of Halo. Use the second needle through the opposite side of the same Halo/DiscDuo set. Decorate the First Side: On each needle (per side): Add: 2 × 15/0, 1 spacer, 1 × 15/0, 1 crystal, 1 × 15/0, 1 spacer, 2 × 15/0. Loop back through the Halo + DiscDuo from the opposite direction to form the side decoration. Repeat the Segment: Continue adding Halo–DiscDuo pairs, decorating both sides with the same sequence. Repeat until you have 9 sets (adjust for desired length). End the Base Row: At the last Halo: add 3 × 15/0 on both needles. Pass both needles through 2 stacked spacers, then add 3–4 inches of 15/0s for the loop side of the clasp. Reinforce the loop by threading through again. Add Top Embellishment (Shadow/Bow Tie Effect): One needle: add 4 × 15/0, 1 crystal, 4 × 15/0, then cross diagonally through the opposite hole of the next DiscDuo. Other needle: thread 4 × 15/0, pass through the same crystal, add 4 more 15/0, and cross through the opposite side. This creates the “X” or shadow effect over the DiscDuos. Repeat between each DiscDuo pair. Final Reinforcement: Weave both threads back through spacers, seed beads, and the cup button. Tie a square knot securely between the thread ends. Hide the threads in nearby beads, then burn or zap the ends flush to finish.
