Stackable Memory Wire Bracelets Tutorial
The Designer’s suggested colors and materials:
  • Oval memory wire (cut to about four turns)
  • Seed beads (Miyuki 11/0 in matte metallic sage, duracoat dark mauve, matte metallic blue green iris)
  • Assorted metal beads (nuclear barrel bead in antique brass, dotted marquee bead, grenade bead)
  • Tassels (in beige, jade, olive colors)
  • Round nose pliers
  • Flat nose pliers (optional for adjustments)

    Quick Project Steps

    Prepare the Memory Wire: Cut the memory wire to about four turns. Use round nose pliers to create a loop at one end.
    Flatten the Wire: Slightly flatten the other end of the wire to facilitate beading.
    Start Beading: Begin adding seed beads in patterns, alternating with metal beads for contrast. Follow a pattern like five seed beads, one metal bead, ten seed beads, etc.
    Continue Beading: Keep adding beads following the pattern until you reach the desired length.
    Finish the Bracelet: Use round nose pliers to create a loop at the end of the wire. Trim any excess wire.
    Attach the Tassel: Open the last loop slightly and attach the tassel.
