The Dome and Leather Necklace is a fun and funky way to create an art deco style piece with little bead weaving knowledge or skill. Glue down some dome beads and create your pendant. 1. Cut a piece of DragonThread into a 4 foot piece and place on a needle to the thread followed by a stop bead. Sew through the largest dome bead and add 15/0 seed beads that will go to one side of the bead. 2. Once you add all of the beads onto the thread, sew your needle through the bottom of the dome bead. Repeat this for the other side of the dome and watch the Dome and Leather necklace video to see how to add additional seed beads and domes. 3. Once you finish your pendant, cut your leather into 4 pieces of 20"ish. Grab your loctite glue and place on the end cones to each side of the leather. Hang your pendant from the leather and add on your lobster clasp. The Dome and Leather necklace is a mixed media design that will spark creativity in your beading design.
