Quick Project Steps

Learn how to create the elegant Frozen Branch Christmas Bauble in this PotomacBeads tutorial. Impress your family and friends with a heartfelt, handmade gift this year.
1.Put a size 10/12 needle onto 1 meter of Miyuki thread. Pick up an 11/0 and slide it down leaving about 15cm for a tail. Thread through the needle again to hold it in place. Add 4 more seed beads and go back through the second and third bead. Take one more seed bead and go back through the set of three 11/0s. Pick up a Czech pearl and go up the two outside 11/0s.
2.Watch the Frozen Branch Christmas Bauble tutorial to continue the St. Petersburg stitch to complete the branches for the Christmas ornament.
3.Connect the beaded strips together and attach to the top of the bauble. Sew a loop of pearls and seed beads at the bottom to connect the branches below. Tie into a double knot. Reinforce the beads in the circle. Hide the tail and trim the ends.
It is easy to adjust the pattern to fit any size of bauble. Have fun making The Frozen Branch Christmas Bauble in a bunch of colors to decorate your tree.

I've been a professional beader for around 25 years. Your website and tutorials are simply the best. Well done! Don't change. Not happy with purchase of 3mm round crystal AB nor the 14mm and 18mm rivolis. Poor quality crystals. Dull.
