Starburst Delight Earrings Tutorial

The Designer’s suggested colors and materials:
  • 12 RounDuo beads
  • 24 Piggy beads
  • 12 4mm beads (Pearls or similar)
  • Miyuki Seed Beads 11/0
  • 2 12mm Rivolis
  • Ear hooks
  • 6mm rings
  • Size 10 beading needle
  • Wildfire beading thread (0.006 in/0.15mm) in white
  • Clippers or scissors

    Quick Project Steps

    Thread your needle with an arm's length of Wildfire thread.
    Begin by creating a circle with six RounDuo beads, separated by pairs of seed beads.
    Secure and tighten the circle by passing through the beads multiple times.
    Add a layer of seed beads around the RounDuo beads to prepare for setting the rivoli.
    Place the rivoli in the center and secure it by tightening the surrounding seed beads.
    Create an outer layer using piggy beads and 4mm beads for embellishment.
    Finish the design by creating a loop with seed beads for attaching the earhook.
    Attach the earhook using pliers and a 6mm ring.
