    Quick Project Steps

Prepare materials & thread: Thread needle and add a stop bead to secure the starting beads. Create the center square: Stitch a small square using Delica beads to form the base of the earring. Define the corners: Add 15/0 seed beads between Delicas to create spacing for point formation. Add bugle bead points: Stitch bugle beads outward from each corner to form snowflake-style arms. Frame with Delicas: Reinforce and shape the design by adding Delicas around the bugles. Layer crystal accents: Add small crystals between bead groupings for sparkle and dimension. Build outer texture: Use peyote-style stitching to raise and define the outer layer. Adjust size and symmetry: Add or skip outer rows to customize the final size. Attach wire guard: Stitch a wire guard at the top point for durability. Add ear wire: Attach the ear wire through the wire guard. Reinforce thread path: Pass through key beads again to secure structure and tension. Finish: Tie off, trim thread, and gently shape the earring.
