    Quick Project Steps

Prep & center: Thread both needles, find the midpoint and slide on a wire guard plus a 15/0 on each needle. This forms your starting/clasp end. Place first GemDuo: Cross the needles through the top hole of a GemDuo (one needle left→right, the other right→left). Pull snug so the GemDuo sits against the starting 15/0s and wire guard. Add side spacers & cross the bottom: Put 3 × 15/0 on each needle, then cross both needles through the bottom hole of that GemDuo. That completes one GemDuo unit (three 15/0s on either side). Add SuperDuo unit: On each needle: pick up a SuperDuo + 3 × 15/0, push up, then cross each needle through the bottom hole of the SuperDuo (one needle through that SuperDuo’s hole on its side). You’ll now have the pattern GemDuo → (3×15) → SuperDuo → (3×15) → GemDuo. Add next GemDuo (orientation): Place the next GemDuo top side up between the two SuperDuos. Cross needles through the top hole of the GemDuo (one each direction). Don’t pull too tight — leave a little give for the Montees. Repeat spacers & cross bottom: Add 3 × 15/0 to each needle and cross through the bottom of that GemDuo. Repeat Steps 4–6 to build the bracelet length (GemDuo + SuperDuo units repeating). Size guide — The sample uses ~18 GemDuos (with wire guards) ≈ 6½". Adjust GemDuo count for your wrist. Finish opposite wire guard: For the last GemDuo, add one 15/0 on each needle, pass both needles through the second wire guard (so each needle goes up/down the guard), then pass through the initial 15/0s/top GemDuo path as shown to nest the guard. This mirrors your starting end. Add Rose Montees (embellishment pass): After a GemDuo unit, add 1 × 15/0 to each needle. Place a Rose Montee so the crystal side faces up: pick up the Montée on one needle then cross the other needle through the Montée’s corresponding hole (crisscross). Add 1 more 15/0 to each needle and cross through the top of the next GemDuo to lock the Montée in place. Repeat between GemDuo units as you work along the bracelet. Continue pattern: Alternate the standard GemDuo / SuperDuo units and the Montée placement until the bracelet is decorated along its length. Tie off & finish: Bring both thread ends together, tie a secure square knot (right-over-left, left-over-right), trim and burn or tuck tails. Add jump rings and your clasp.
