Czech Flower Bracelet Tutorial

This tutorial from PotomacBeads teaches you to make the Czech flower bracelet, which is an always popular bead weaving technique that uses Czech glass (or your choice of faceted rondelles), and seed beads. You can also make variations on this bracelet by using different sizes of beads. Enjoy!

Czech Flower Bracelet Tutorial
The Designer’s suggested colors and materials:
  • 5x8mm Czech glass rondels
  • 8/0 seed beads
  • Two colors of 11/0 seed beads
  • Wildfire thread
  • Needle
  • Lobster clasp and ring for closure

    Quick Project Steps

    Gather your materials: Czech glass rondels, 8/0 and two colors of 11/0 seed beads, Wildfire thread, needle, and closure.
    String one 8/0 seed bead, one rondel, and another 8/0 seed bead, repeating until you have six rondels on your thread.
    Form a circle by sewing back through the first 8/0 seed bead and continue to the next step to create the flower base.
    Add three 8/0 seed beads as a connector between the flowers for a seamless look.
    Use the 11/0 seed beads to add centers and petals to each flower, choosing colors for the petals and stems.
    Continue the pattern until you have the desired length for your bracelet, typically eight flowers.
    Attach your choice of closure, such as a lobster clasp and ring, to finish the bracelet.
