    Quick Project Steps

Gather Materials: 11/0 seed beads. Bugle beads. Daggers (for fringe). Dragon Thread (6-8 feet). Size 10 or 11 beading needle. Start the Base: Thread four 11/0 seed beads and form the first right-angle weave (RAW) unit. Repeat to create nine RAW units for the first row. Build the Rows: Use the top beads of the previous row as the base for the next row. Add rows using RAW technique until the desired bag height is achieved. Incorporate Bugle Beads: Add bugle beads on the sides of the RAW units for structure. Alternate bugles and seed beads for a decorative effect. Taper the Top: Begin reducing the number of RAW units in each row to create a flap. Start with nine units, then taper to seven, five, three, and one. Seam the Sides: Fold the bag into shape and connect the side rows using additional RAW units. Ensure the seams are secure by threading through multiple times. Add Fringe: Attach daggers and seed beads to the bottom edge for decorative fringe. Alternate bead colors or patterns for a cascading effect. Create the Strap: String beads and bugles in your desired pattern to form a strap. Securely attach the strap to both sides of the bag. Finalize the Design: Reinforce all connections, tighten threads, and trim any excess. Add any final embellishments to the flap or edges.
