  • Make a Caduceus Bracelet (Seed Beading 394)
This video tutorial from The Potomac Bead Company shows you how to make our Caduceus bracelet, using Czech SuperDuo beads and Miyuki seed beads. The Caduceus is an ancient Greek symbol, which has been used as a medical symbol in the United States beginning in the 19th century. The symbol has two snakes wrapped around a winged staff. The pewter wings used as a clasp in this bracelet also help to replicate the symbol.

Materials Used To make The  Project

Quick Project Steps

Gather all materials: SuperDuo/twin beads, 11/0 and 8/0 Miyuki seed beads, clasp, beading needles, and thread.
Start with a two-needle technique, stringing beads to form the center part of the bracelet.
Continue adding beads to the middle portion, following the pattern of adding SuperDuo beads and 11/0 seed beads.
Begin working on the outer layers, ensuring proper tension to avoid twisting.
Create a loop for the clasp and secure the bracelet's end.
Finish the bracelet by attaching the clasp and weaving in the thread ends securely.
