Tower of London Tutorial

This video tutorial from The Potomac Bead Company teaches you how to make a "Tower of London" Bracelet using your choice of Czech spikes, 6mm round beads, 4mm Swarovski crystals, and 11/0 Miyuki seed beads. The Designer’s suggested colors and materials:
  • Czech spike beads (7x17mm recommended)
  • 4mm Swarovski crystals
  • 6mm round beads (matte gray gemstones used in the video)
  • 11/0 Miyuki seed beads
  • Czech cup button (for clasp)
  • Wildfire beading thread (0.006mm thickness)

    Start with threading two needles on a 5-foot piece of Wildfire beading thread.
    Attach a Czech cup button as the clasp using three 11/0 seed beads.
    Begin the beadwork by creating a base of seed beads, incorporating the first 6mm bead in a cross pattern.
    Add spikes and 6mm beads alternately, using a specific pattern of seed beads to maintain the structure and spacing.
    Integrate 4mm Swarovski crystals between spikes for added elegance and sparkle.
    Conclude the bracelet by creating a loop for the clasp and securing the thread with knots and glue for durability.
