In this tutorial, Ally demonstrates how to create the Tila Disco Bracelet, a sparkling design that combines Tila beads, Delica beads, 11/0 seed beads, 4 mm pearls, and 6 mm crystal disco balls. Using size 6 Dragon Thread and a size 10 needle, she builds the bracelet one section at a time, creating small square-shaped pockets between the Tila beads to hold the crystal disco balls. The design features an attractive contrast between the structured beadwork and the shine of the crystals, making it easy to customize with lighter or darker color combinations. Once the desired bracelet length is reached, Ally demonstrates how to attach a cup button clasp and create a matching seed-bead loop on the opposite end. She reinforces the connections, secures the thread with hidden knots, and trims the excess to complete the bracelet.

    Quick Project Steps

Prepare the Thread: Cut approximately 5 feet of size 6 Dragon Thread, attach a size 10 needle, and add a temporary stop bead, leaving a 10–12-inch tail for the clasp. Start the First Unit: Pick up a Tila bead, followed by a Delica bead, two 11/0 seed beads, a 4 mm pearl, two more 11/0 seed beads, and another Delica bead. Add a second Tila bead. Create the Exterior Loop: Repeat the bead sequence around the second Tila bead and pass back through the first Tila bead to form the outer loop. Build the Interior Square: Add 11/0 seed beads and Delica beads between the Tila beads to create a square-shaped pocket in the center. Add the Crystal: Place a 6 mm crystal disco ball inside the square pocket, securing it with 11/0 seed beads and passing through the Tila bead. Complete the First Unit: Reinforce the beadwork and move through the outer beads until you reach the second hole of the Tila beads. Connect the Next Unit: Add seed beads through the second holes of the Tila beads to connect the sections, then repeat the exterior loop and interior square pattern. Repeat the Pattern: Continue adding units with pearls and crystal disco balls until you reach your desired bracelet length (approximately 15 units, depending on your wrist). Attach the Cup Button: Add four 11/0 seed beads, pass through the cup button, and add three more seed beads. Reinforce the connection by sewing through the beads several times. Create the Closure Loop: On the opposite end, create a loop using 28 seed beads, securing it with additional passes through the beadwork. Secure the Thread: Tie hidden knots around bridge threads in the bracelet, repeating in a couple of places to strengthen the finish. Finish the Bracelet: Carefully trim or burn off the excess thread to complete your Tila Disco Bracelet.
