The Pie Cubes Bangle Bracelet tutorial demonstrates how to create a dimensional beaded bangle using PieDuos, 2 mm cube beads, 4 mm round beads, and 15/0 seed beads. The design begins with a repeating pattern of PieDuos, cubes, and seed beads, followed by adding round beads between the PieDuos to build the bracelet’s structure. The ends are joined to form a circle, and optional seed-bead caps are added around the cube beads for extra decoration and comfort. Finally, the thread is secured and woven through the beadwork to create a sturdy, polished bracelet.

    Quick Project Steps

Prepare the thread: Cut about 2.5 feet of size 6 beading thread and add a 15/0 seed bead as a stop bead. Start the pattern: Pick up a PieDuo through its flat side, followed by a 15/0 seed bead, a 2 mm cube bead, and another 15/0 seed bead. Create the bead cap: Pass the needle through the curved side of the PieDuo to secure the seed beads around the cube. Repeat the sequence: Continue adding PieDuos, seed beads, and cube beads in the same pattern to build the bracelet base. Measure the bracelet: Check the length against the widest part of your hand to ensure the bangle will slide on comfortably. Add the 4 mm round beads: Using a new thread, stitch round beads between the PieDuos, following the existing beadwork to connect them securely. Join the ends: Connect both ends of the bracelet with an additional PieDuo, completing the circular shape. Finish the joined section: Add any remaining 4 mm round beads and reinforce the connection to keep the bracelet secure. Add optional embellishments: Pick up six 15/0 seed beads, skip over a cube bead, and pass through the next 15/0 seed bead to create a decorative cap. Repeat around the bracelet as desired. Secure the thread: Tie several half-hitch knots, weave the thread through nearby beads, and trim the excess. Check the fit: Make sure the bangle slides comfortably over your hand and that all thread ends are secured.
