    Quick Project Steps

Prep materials & thread: Thread needle and add a stop bead to hold the starting beads in place. Create the foundation row: String the initial sequence of seed beads exactly as shown in the pattern to form the base for flat peyote. Begin peyote stitch: Pick up one bead, skip one bead, sew through the next bead. Continue across to establish the first peyote row. Follow the diamond color pattern: Add one bead per stitch, following the chart to form the double diamond motif. Flip the work as needed to stay oriented correctly. Build length with repetition: Repeat the peyote rows, maintaining even tension so the diamonds stay crisp and aligned. Manage thread additions: When thread runs low, weave back through several beads, secure, and add new thread without breaking the pattern. Check symmetry & tension: Periodically straighten the bracelet and adjust tension to keep edges smooth and flat. Finish at the correct row: Stop stitching once the bracelet reaches your desired wrist length, ending on a row suitable for clasp attachment. Attach the clasp: Sew through the clasp loop multiple times using edge beads for strength. Repeat on the opposite end. Reinforce & finish: Weave thread tails into the bracelet, change direction, trim or burn ends, and smooth the beadwork.
