    Quick Project Steps

Prep & center: Cut ~5 ft of size 6 beading thread; put a needle on each end. At the midpoint, add a wire guard, then slide two 11/0 seed beads on each thread and snug to center. First PieDuo (start the bow): Pick up a PieDuo; send one needle through each corner hole so the bead sits between the thread paths. Center bead: Add one 11/0 on each thread. Pick up a RounDuo; pass one needle through each hole so the two threads meet inside the bead. Snug. Add one 11/0 on each thread. Close the bow: Add the second PieDuo half (curved side orientation to mirror the first). Add two 11/0s on each needle, then pass each needle through the pointed-side hole of that PieDuo to complete the bow shape. Repeat the unit: For each new bow: 11/0 (each thread) → RounDuo (both needles) → 11/0 (each) → PieDuo → two 11/0s (each) → through the pointed side to close. Continue until length; the example shows ~8 bow ties + half-bows at ends ≈ 6.5 in (adjust for your clasp length). Finish the far end: End on a half-bow (PieDuo + two 11/0s). Take one needle up one side of a wire guard, the other needle up the other side. Then reinforce: come back down through the same side—two 11/0 → PieDuo → 11/0 → RounDuo → 11/0 → PieDuo—and repeat on the other side. Add the sparkle (Rose Montees): Working across the top of each bow, pick up a Rose Montee, then cross to the opposite PieDuo and continue down through 11/0 → RounDuo → 11/0 → next PieDuo; repeat with the other thread so the montee is locked by a criss-cross. Repeat for every bow. Secure & clasp: Bring both threads to the end, square-knot (right-over-left, left-over-right), melt or weave in tails. Attach your clasp to the wire guards with jump rings keep the clasp closed while attaching so it isn’t flipped.
