    Quick Project Steps

Prepare Your Thread: Use one needle and a comfortable length of size 6 Dragon Thread. Add a stop bead near the tail end to prevent beads from slipping off. Create the First Motif Base: String: 7 × 11/0, 1 × 8/0, 7 × 11/0, 1 × 8/0. Position your needle to come out of the 4th 11/0 on one side (middle bead). Add a 6mm fire-polished bead between the center 11/0s on both sides to form the core. Square Stitch Side Units: Square stitch (or ladder stitch) 3 × 11/0 beads onto the side 11/0 beads to create structural connectors. Build the Next Motif: String: 2 × 11/0, 1 × 8/0, 2 × 11/0 (bottom), 3 × 11/0 (side), 2 × 11/0, 1 × 8/0, 2 × 11/0 (top). Connect through the existing side 3-bead unit. Add a fire-polished bead in the same center-to-center method. Repeat for Desired Length: Repeat motif units with fire-polished beads until you reach your desired bracelet length (e.g., 14 motifs). Add Crystals to the Sides: Sew out through side 11/0 beads. Add 1 × 2x3mm crystal between each set of motifs on both bracelet edges. Be mindful of tension to prevent curving. Embellish with 15/0 Seed Beads: Add 4 × 15/0 beads between 11/0s on both sides above each crystal. Repeat along both edges. Some gaps may appear—this will be adjusted in the next step. Add Picots Around Crystals: Coming out of each crystal, add: 2 × 15/0, 1 × 11/0, 2 × 15/0. Loop back through the crystal to form a picot arch over it. Do this above each crystal on both edges. Attach the Clasp: Exit from the center 11/0 at the bracelet end. Add 1 × 11/0, pass through the clasp loop, and return down the 11/0. Reinforce by going through this path 2–3 times for strength. Finish and Secure: Tie off your thread by knotting near 8/0 beads and sewing through multiple beads to hide the tail. Flatten the bracelet gently and ensure all motifs and crystals are aligned.

I love everything about Potomac beads, except for the dragon fire white thread. I bought the time before it was a 250 spool and I bought 5 pound because the 6 pound I had was just humongous you've done some changing with your threads since the last time I bought some. I fell and broke my right arm and my rotator cuff and wasn't able to be for quite a while. I just pulled out the 5 pound white thread. I bought the time before and tried it. I don't even think I could bezel with it. The 6 pound does beautiful. I took one arm span of thread off the spool and I won't be using it. It's a shame because I truly love yours thread.
