  • Gemstones - Sodalite Matte Round Beads 6mm, 13 Pieces
  • Miyuki Seed Beads 8/0 - White, 4 Grams
  • Miyuki Seed Beads 11/0 - Duracoat Opaque Nile Blue, 1 Gram
  • Miyuki Seed Beads 15/0 - Galvanized Yellow Gold, 2 Grams

    Learn how to make this elegant Firmament necklace in this PotomacBeads tutorial. This graceful necklace is perfect for dressing up any outfit, it will add a touch of class to your look.
    1. Put a stop bead onto the thread using an 11/0 that will be incorporated into the project. Place a gemstone inside a halo bead and thread through them. Pick up three 11/0s, go back through the halo and gemstone. Pick up two 11/0s and thread back through the stop bead and halo/gemstone. Bring the needle back through the three 11/0s and pick up twelve 15/0s and thread through the first 11/0 on the other side of the halo.
    2. Watch the Firmament necklace tutorial with Anna to see how to complete the pattern of Gemstones and seed beads.
    3. Coming out of the last 11/0 in the project, pick up a 15/0 and a wire guard. Pick up another 15/0 and go back through the 11/0. Thread back through to reinforce. Tie a knot and go back down through the project a little and burn the ends of the thread. Add a jump ring and lobster clasp to the wire guard.
