    Quick Project Steps

Prep & anchor (stop bead): Cut ~4–5 ft thread. Thread needle and slide the first RoundDuo Mini on as the built-in stop bead (leave a 6–8" tail and snug it so beads won’t slide). Build starter segment: String: 11/0 → RoundDuo (one hole) → 11/0 → olive bead → 11/0 → RoundDuo (other hole) so the RoundDuos sit paired with 11/0s framing the olive between them. Pull snug to seat beads. Create the repeating unit: Continue repeating: 11/0 → RoundDuo → 11/0 → olive → 11/0 → RoundDuo until you have the number of RoundDuos needed for your length. Keep tension even so the band lies flat. Check and mirror as you go: Periodically wrap on your wrist/mandrel to confirm length — adjust unit count. Make side-by-side mirror passes if the design uses symmetrical edging. Add decorative 15/0 edging (optional): Exit an outer 11/0 and pick up (15/0 → 11/0 → 15/0) or groups of 3 × 15/0, pass into the next outer 11/0 to form delicate edge runs. Repeat along both edges for lacey texture. Form clasp loop (bead loop): At one end, add 10–14 × 11/0 (or enough to fit your clasp) to form a loop; pass back through the base beads to anchor the loop and tighten it to the right diameter for your clasp ring. Attach clasp / wire guard (other end): At the opposite end, exit a sturdy bead, add a few 11/0s, pass through the wire guard or jump ring, then back through adjacent beads and the guard again. Make 2–3 passes through the guard for strength. Reinforce critical joins: Sew reinforcement passes through the first RoundDuo (stop bead), clasp area, and several shared beads across the bracelet — 2–3 extra passes where threads cross high-stress beads. Tie off & bury tails: Weave the working thread under bridge threads or through several beads, tie small weaver’s knots if desired, then trim and carefully zap/melt the tail (if synthetic). Repeat for the starting tail — weave it back and trim. Final fit check & finish: Close clasp, try bracelet, check spacing and edge symmetry. If any beads sit rotated, give a light tightening pass. Enjoy!
