    Quick Project Steps

Prep thread & stop: Cut a comfortable length (~4–5 ft). Thread a needle on each end (two-needle method). Tie a stop bead or leave a short tail to hold beads while you begin. Start the base with RounDuo Mini: At the midpoint, pick up a RounDuo Mini and a few 11/0s as the starter cluster. Cross the needles through a final 11/0 to lock the center and snug the work. Add your first IrisDuo unit: On each needle pick up an 11/0, then feed both needles through the two holes of an IrisDuo (one needle per hole) so the IrisDuo sits between the threads. Add 11/0 on each side and snug. Create the decorative arch: From the next exit point add an 8/0 (or 3×15/0 for a delicate look), then a crystal (optional), then another 8/0 — return the needles through the nearby beads to form a small arch that frames the IrisDuo. Repeat the repeating unit: Continue the pattern: 11/0 → IrisDuo (both needles) → 11/0 → arch (8/0/15/0 + crystal) until you have the desired number of IrisDuo units for bracelet length. Check fit against your wrist as you go. Finish first strand & prepare second: End the first strand with a half-unit or small spacer so the strand’s edge is neat. Leave working threads long enough to form the second, mirrored strand — you’ll build the second side to interlock with the first. Build the mirrored (second) strand: Using the remaining thread on both needles, mirror the exact sequence on the opposite side so arch shapes and crystals line up to create the lacy, interlocked effect. Join inner holes / interlock: Where the two strands meet in the center, step into the inner holes of the IrisDuos and RounDuo Minis and add small connector 11/0s (or a single 15/0) to lock the strands together. Repeat across the length so the two layers sit as one cohesive lace. Create clasp loops: At each end, form a seed-bead loop sized for your chosen jump ring or clasp: typically 6–12 × 11/0 depending on clasp size. Reinforce these loops with several extra thread passes. Reinforce critical joins: Make 2–3 reinforcement passes through the RounDuo Minis, IrisDuos, and clasp loops (and through any Rose Montees if used) to strengthen the bracelet. Tie off & bury tails Weave thread tails back into the beadwork, make small weaver’s knots under bridge threads if desired, then trim and zap (if using synthetic thread) or hide tails into the work. Attach hardware & final check: Add jump rings and clasp (or wire guards), check symmetry and tension, adjust any beads that sit twisted, and enjoy.
