    Quick Project Steps

Prep thread & tools: Thread size-8 Dragon Thread on a size 10 needle; add a stop bead to keep beads from sliding. Gather IrisDuos, two Tublet colors, 11/0 seed beads, and a cup button. Orient the first IrisDuo: Pick up an IrisDuo flat side down through the bottom hole. Add 3× 11/0, pass back through the IrisDuo; add 3× 11/0 on the other side to mirror. Make the side picots: Step out of bead #2 of the side trio, add 3× 11/0, circle back through the same bead to form a tiny picot stack; repeat on the opposite side. Bridge to the next IrisDuo: From the IrisDuo, add 11/0 – Tublet – 11/0 – (picot of 3× 11/0) – Tublet – 11/0 – IrisDuo (again flat side down). Tighten to form the first section. Repeat the base pattern: Continue adding sections: for each span between IrisDuos, stitch 11/0–Tublet–11/0, add the 3-bead picot, then another Tublet–11/0, and the next IrisDuo. Keep tension snug. Add picots around each IrisDuo: Work up and down each IrisDuo, placing 3-bead picots where indicated to frame the center row neatly. Size the bracelet & add the loop: When the center row reaches your length, add 4× 11/0 + 26× 11/0 (total 30) to form the clasp loop sized for a cup button; pass back down through the 4th bead and into the IrisDuo. (Use a wire guard if using a different clasp.) “Step up” to the outer edge: Travel to the top beads of the picots. Add the outer Tublet layer across the edge by stitching 11/0 – Tublet – 11/0 from one picot top to the next; this extends the triangle motif. Do one side, then the other. Attach the cup button: On the button end: add 3× 11/0, +1, +2, go up through the button, then back down, add 3× 11/0 to match, and pass through the IrisDuo. Reinforce with extra passes. Reinforce the loop & exit: Stitch around the loop and button path at least twice for strength, guiding the needle through a seed bead when passing through the back of the button for control. Finish & clean up: Remove the stop bead, tie secure half-hitch knots while weaving through nearby beads, then trim and zap thread ends for a tidy finish. Fit notes: Approx. 9 IrisDuos ≈ 7½–7¾ in; use 8 for a shorter fit. Adjust bead counts as needed.
