Prep & start:

Repeat the unit:

Check length & add final guard:
When you reach desired length, add extra 8/0s as spacers, then position the second wire guard and pass each needle up/down through it (mirror the start). Reinforce by sewing back through the last few beads and the guard a couple of times.
Add 11/0 decorative edging (outside row):
Exit an outside 8/0. Pick up 4 × 11/0, pass through the next 8/0 → LeafDuo → 8/0 to form a small outer run. Repeat along the outside edge so 11/0 runs frame the DiscDuo/LeafDuo band. (Video shows groups of four 11/0 per repeat.)
Finish edging to the end:
Continue the 11/0 run to the second guard. When both sides are trimmed, route threads to a central join point.
Cross, tie & bury tails:
Cross the two thread ends through an 8/0 or under a bridge thread; make a small secure knot (simple overhand or two half-hitches), then weave tails back through beads to hide them. Trim and zap if using synthetic thread.
Make coordinating earrings (quick):
Use a short length of thread with a stop bead. Build the same unit sequence but shorter (DiscDuo + LeafDuo + small spacer) or follow the exact mini pattern shown. Add a wire guard at the top, reinforce, tie off, and attach ear wires.
