    Quick Project Steps

Start the Bezel Base: String: Delica – SuperDuo x 9 times, alternating. Tie into a circle (ensure no two same beads are next to each other). Step up into the second hole of the first SuperDuo. Add First Round of Seed Beads: In each gap, add: 15/0 – Delica – 15/0. Sew around the top row (second holes of SuperDuos). Add Outer SuperDuos: Coming out of each Delica: add 2 × 15/0 – SuperDuo – 2 × 15/0. Skip the existing SuperDuos, stitch into the next Delica. Repeat all the way around (9 times total). Build Inner Prongs (RAW): At each center Delica: add 3 × 15/0s and loop around to form a prong. These prongs help secure the rivoli later. Sew through all prongs to reinforce. Add Inner Ring for Rivoli: Pick up: Delica – 15/0 – Delica, stitch into each middle 15/0 of each prong. This forms a tight inner ring for the rivoli to sit in. Insert and Secure the Rivoli: Insert the 14mm rivoli face-up into the bezel. Sew through the Delica–15/0–Delica circle twice, pulling tightly (skip center 15/0). Add First Layer of Crystals: Exit a 15/0 next to a SuperDuo. Add a 2mm bicone, stitch through the next 15/0. Repeat around to frame the center crystal with a colorful ring. Add More SuperDuos Between Crystals: Between each bicone: add 2 × 15/0 → through bicone → 2 × 15/0. Go through the first hole of the new SuperDuo. Repeat around to form the next SuperDuo layer. Add Second Crystal Layer: Exit top of a SuperDuo. Add: 2 × 15/0 – crystal – 15/0, stitch down to base 15/0. Then: 15/0 – crystal – 2 × 15/0, stitch up to SuperDuo again. Repeat all the way around (9 times). Add Final SuperDuo Layer: Between each second-layer crystal pair: Add: crystal – SuperDuo – crystal, stitch through top SuperDuo again. Complete third ring of SuperDuos. Connect Outer Rows: Sew through second holes of SuperDuos from rows 2 and 3. In each gap: add 15/0 – crystal – 15/0 between the rows. Repeat all the way around to secure structure. Optional: Add Pico Edge: In outer gaps: add 4 × 15/0s, then stitch into the second bead of the next set. Creates a decorative picot border.
