    Quick Project Steps

Prep the form: Remove protective film from the wooden wreath and bow. Decide front/back and paint or finish the wood first if desired; allow to dry. Thread & stop bead: Cut ~2–3 yd thread, thread needle. Add a temporary stop bead ~4–6 mm from the end and slide it down to hold stitches while you work. Begin filling the wreath: Exit at one hole on the wreath edge. Pick up 5–6 × 8/0 seed beads (video uses 5) and stitch them across the form to the hole ~3 holes ahead (or follow the form’s spacing). Pull snug so the beads sit as a small cluster/segment on the surface. Repeat clusters around the ring: Continue the same pick-up-and-stitch pattern across every 2–4 holes (as the form spacing requires) so the wreath surface becomes evenly covered in bead clusters. Keep tension consistent so clusters sit flush, not loose. Add hanger loop: At the top center, make a bead hanger by stringing ~25–28 red (or desired color) 11/0s into a loop, pass back through the loop’s base beads to secure, and tack it to the back so it forms a sturdy hanging loop. Add pearls/crystals as berries: Where desired, replace a cluster or tuck in single pearls/crystals (2–4 mm) among the 8/0 clusters to act as berries or sparkle points. Anchor by sewing back through neighboring beads for stability. Make or bead the bow: Decorate the pre-cut wooden bow by beading small lines or outlines with red 11/0s and crystals, or stitch tiny fringe. Alternatively, bead a ribbon-style bow separately (rows of seed beads shaped to a bow) and reinforce with glue or stitching. Attach the bow to the wreath: Position the bow at the desired spot (top or bottom). Sew it onto the wreath by passing thread through the bow holes (or loop under the bow) and into the wreath base, making several passes to secure. Use a dab of E6000 under the bow if you want extra hold. Reinforce & tidy: Backtrack through high-stress areas (hanger loop, bow attachment, and any single-pearl anchors) with 1–2 reinforcement passes. Tie discreet knots on the back, bury thread tails through bead bridges, trim close, and seal with a tiny zap if using synthetic thread. Final finishing: Inspect bead coverage for gaps, adjust tension where needed, and trim/flatten any melted thread ends. Hang and admire!
