The Twilight Facets Bracelet tutorial demonstrates how to create a beautiful, geometric bracelet using just four main materials: GemDuos, 4mm bicones, 11/0 seed beads, and a cup button. The design features repeating diamond-shaped units formed by connecting GemDuos and seed beads, which are later embellished with crystals and additional layers for dimension and sparkle. The tutorial carefully explains how to reinforce thread paths, work through multi-hole beads, and attach both ends using a secure button clasp and seed bead loop. The project finishes with delicate crystal-and-seed bead lacework along the outer edge, giving the bracelet an elegant, finished look. Suitable for intermediate beaders, the tutorial is clear and adaptable to many color palettes.

    Quick Project Steps

Build the First Diamond Unit: String the following in a repeating pattern: 1 GemDuo (through one hole). 1 seed bead. Repeat this 4 times to form a square (diamond-shaped) base. Stitch through all beads to form a closed loop and reinforce. Add the Center Crystal: Exit through one seed bead. Add a 4mm bicone, and stitch diagonally to the opposite seed bead. Repeat to cross the center with two crisscrossed crystals. Create the Flower Shape: Use the second hole of each GemDuo to build the outer diamond/flower structure. Between each GemDuo, add: 1 seed bead → 1 GemDuo → 1 seed bead. This builds a second diamond around the first. Continue the Repeating Units: Repeat the entire diamond/flower process to build your desired bracelet length. Each new unit connects to the previous one by sharing seed beads or GemDuos at the edges. Add the Cup Button Clasp: Exit through a top seed bead at one end. Pick up enough seed beads to fit the button shank. Go through the cup button, add one more seed bead, and loop back. Reinforce 2–3 times through all beads. Make the Seed Bead Loop Clasp (Opposite Side): At the other bracelet end, create a loop of seed beads to fit snugly around the cup button. Test the size, adjust as needed, and reinforce. Add Optional Lace Embellishment: Along the outer edge, add: 1 seed bead → 1 bicone → 1 seed bead between outer seed beads. This adds a decorative lacy border to both sides. Tie Off and Finish: Weave your thread into the work, tying half-hitch knots between beads. Trim or burn thread ends cleanly.
