Quick Project Steps

PotomacBeads Tutorials are a great way to learn how to make beautiful jewelry. In this tutorial, we'll show you how to make these Wire Wrapped Rivoli Earrings by simply wrapping a rivoli with wire to create a stunning blue and silver elegant earring worthy of any special occasion.
Cut approximately twenty inches of both 20ga wire and 24ga wire. Wrap the 24ga wire five times around the 20ga wire. Create a little loop in the wire by wrapping the 24ga wire around the end of the round nose pliers. Coil the wire five more times and make another loop but this time form it pointing to the bottom. These little loops will be prongs to hold the rivoli. Continue wrapping the wire and making loops until you have seven prongs to the top and six prongs along the bottom.
Watch the Wire Wrapped Rivoli earring tutorial to see how Allie prepares to add the Potomac crystal rivoli to the center of the wire. Once the rivoli is in, you can put a pearl on the top using the extra wire.
Make a loop at the top of the wire with pliers and wrap the end at the base of the pearl for a nice coiled look. Put an earwire in the loop and you're done!
Making Wire Wrapped Rivoli earrings is easier than you may think. By following a few simple steps, you can create beautiful earrings that look like they came from a high-end jewelry store. Best of all, this project makes for a great gift that is sure to be loved.
