    Quick Project Steps

Join Allie as she demonstrates how to use DragonThread beading thread and wire guards to create a multistrand necklace featuring Potomac Pearls. This pearl necklace uses 3 sizes of Potomac Pearls to create a graduated look that is classy and modern. 1. Cut a 5 foot piece of DragonThread and put a size 11 beading needle onto the end. Add a wire guard onto the thread and needle and let it drop to the bottom of the thread. Take your needle back through the wire guard another time and then knot the thread end to the longer end. 2. Watch the Graduated Pearl 3 Strand Necklace to get the exact number of beads to add to each strand to get the perfect fit and use only 1 strand of each bead size. 3. After finishing all your strands, open a jump ring to attach to the wire guards on one side of each necklace. On the other side, repeat, putting the strands in the same order. Add the clasp on one side and additional rings for an extender chain on the other side. This design is a great way to use just 3 strands of Potomac Pearls to create a graduated, modern, and classy pearl necklace. Choose all the same colors of pearls in sizes 2mm, 3mm, and 4mm

I love everything about Potomac beads, except for the dragon fire white thread. I bought the time before it was a 250 spool and I bought 5 pound because the 6 pound I had was just humongous you've done some changing with your threads since the last time I bought some. I fell and broke my right arm and my rotator cuff and wasn't able to be for quite a while. I just pulled out the 5 pound white thread. I bought the time before and tried it. I don't even think I could bezel with it. The 6 pound does beautiful. I took one arm span of thread off the spool and I won't be using it. It's a shame because I truly love yours thread.
