These earrings are perfect for summer days, or any day you want to feel like you're at the beach. They're easy to make with just a few beads and wire, and they'll add a touch of brightness to your day.
Begin by putting a lapis round bead on 24ga wire. Wrap the 24ga wire around the 20ga once. Put on six faceted rounds, then wrap the 24ga wire around the lapis bead and wrap once around the 20ga. Pick up another six rounds and wrap around the other side of the lapis. Repeat with nine rounds at a time.
Put twenty-four seed beads and wrap around the outside, then pick up another twenty four seed beads and wrap around the other side to form a exterior circle.
Wrap the bare wire around the outside of the beads to form a frame for your ocean earrings. Form a loop out of the extra wire at the top to attach the earwire.
Create a beautiful mosaic of seed beads, gemstones and wire with these Ocean Breeze earrings from PotomacBeads. These earrings are perfect for summer days spent at the beach or poolside. The combination of brightly colored beads and wire creates a beautiful design that is sure to turn heads.
