Quick Project Steps

PotomacBeads Tutorial is excited to bring you a new take on an old classic with their Silk Macrame Hoop Earrings. These earrings are fun and easy to make, so get creative and have some fun!
Tie the silk beading cord onto two rings. Make a pile of 19 seed beads. Make a loop with the cord end laying over the ring, bring the cord under the ring and back up through the loop and pull. Make another knot and slide the two together. Tie three more knots. The knots should be kept to the same side.
Pick up a bead and then tie another knot. Make sure the bead is sitting out of the way of the knot. Tie five more knots on your Silk Macrame Hoop earrings and add another bead. Continue around the ring. You can choose to switch the cord color partway through if you would like to add a little interest.
When you get to the top of the ring, tie the two ends together, clean up the ends by cutting or burning. Add a jump ring to one of the seed beads and add the earwire.
