Cluster Pendant Tutorial
The Designer’s suggested colors and materials:
  • 12 head pins
  • 4 mm Czech glass beads
  • Larger bead (for the core of the pendant)
  • Additional bead for topping the cluster (e.g., amethyst, fluorite)
  • Round nose pliers
  • Flat nose pliers
  • Wire cutter

    Quick Project Steps

    Gather Materials: Prepare 12 head pins, 4 mm Czech glass beads, a larger bead for the cluster core, and an additional bead for the top.
    Create Dangles: Slide a Czech glass bead onto a head pin, bend the wire to form a loop with round nose pliers, and trim the excess wire.
    Assemble the Cluster: Thread the core bead onto a head pin, then attach all the dangles around it.
    Ensure they sit closely and point in various directions.
    Add the Top Bead: Place the top bead (e.g., amethyst or fluorite) above the cluster to secure the dangles in place.
    Create the Bail: Use round nose pliers to make a loop above the top bead, then wrap the excess wire around the base of the loop and trim.
