Materials Used To make The  Project

Designer's Material List

The Designer's suggested colors and materials:
  • Glass Cabochon Round 20mm - Bold Blossom, ~1 Piece
  • Czech Faceted Round 4mm - Coral, ~13 Pieces
  • Miyuki Seed Beads 11/0 - Duracoat Galvanized Champagne, ~2 Grams
  • Miyuki Seed Beads 8/0 - Opaque Limestone Luster, ~1 Gram
  • Step-By-Step Instructions

Begin with alternating 8/0 and 11/0 seed beads to create a loop as the base for the cabochon.
Add groupings of three 11/0 seed beads atop each 11/0 in the base loop to form a crown-like structure.
Progress by adding 8/0 seed beads between the crown points, stepping up to create a second row mirroring the first.
Continue building layers, securing the cabochon with a snug bezel formed by the seed beads.
Embellish the outer edge of the bezel with Czech Faceted Rounds and additional seed beads for a decorative finish.
Create a bail using a square stitch technique, ensuring a secure loop for hanging the pendant.
