Materials Used To make The  Project

Designer's Material List

The Designer's suggested colors and materials:
  • StormDuo® Beads - Metallic Violet, ~20 Pieces
  • Czech Drop 4x6mm - Purple Metallic Suede, ~20 Pieces
  • 2-Hole Halo® Beads - Antique Brass, ~2 Pieces
  • RounTrio® Beads - Metallic Emerald, ~2 Pieces
  • Miyuki Seed Beads 15/0 - Emerald Gold Luster, ~68 Pieces
  • Wire Guards - Antique Brass, ~2 Pieces
  • Earwires - Antique Brass, ~1 Pair
  • Step-By-Step Instructions

Put ten StormDuo beads on the thread. Make sure they are all facing the same direction and tie them into a loop. Sew a two holed halo with a RounTrio bead inside to the center of the project. Reinforce the halo/rountrio combination by sewing through the different holes. Step up to the top hole of the StormDuos, add three beads in between each of them. Then add the Czech drops behind the seed beads to create your savannah earrings. When you get to the last drop, thread on two seed beads,a wire guard and two more seed beads, sew down through the next drop in line. Bring the thread and needle towards the back of the project to tie off the ends. Put on the earwire. These Savannah Sunset earrings are so much fun to make and hardly take any time at all. Why not make a pair for yourself and a friend too? PotomacBeads has everything you need to make these beautiful earrings. We have the beads, the findings, and the instructions.
