Step-By-Step Instructions

Welcome to the PotomacBeads Tutorial on how to make Cherry Blossom Earrings. This super simple, yet super awesome design is perfect for a beginning beader or jewelry maker. Learn how to do a right angle weave and make your own beautiful earrings.
Gather up your Czech Petals, Miyuki seed beads and flat pad posts. You can use either a size 10 or 12 needle. Cut about 3 feet of thread, that should be enough for both earrings.
Start on the backside of the earring with 5 seed beads and tie into a circle. Leave a few inches at the end of the thread to knot at the end. Add more seed beads around the outside of the original circle. Put on 3 15/0 seed beads and add to the outside. Add 3 more groupings of 15/0's. Insert the earring post.
Choose which side of the petals you would like to show on the front, use the right angle weave stitch to add them to the body of the Cherry Blossom earring. Work your way around to add 5 petals. Knot off the thread at the back.
