CLASSES AND COURSE OFFERINGS

Thank you for your interest in classes offered by The Potomac Bead Company. We have over 35 different classes offered on a rotating monthly schedule. These classes include everything from beginner levels through advanced, and can teach you the skills to make beautiful jewelry or bead related crafts of any kind. Most classes are 1.5 – 2 hours long and meet just once. This is convenient for those who do not want to commit to a set schedule of courses. The classes may also be taken in any order by anyone, though we do encourage you to build upon the basics.

Most classes cost between $12 and $25, though a few materials included classes like glass fusing and precious metal clay are higher because materials and firing are included. We do not generally include the materials in the cost of a class because we want you to have the freedom to work with the beads and findings that you like best. We hope that by allowing you to pick your materials, we can spark more creativity and personal satisfaction in your designs. We will of course be available to show you what types of materials will be best for each project and help you in any way possible.

We also offer group and party discounts for groups of any size and all ages. Below, you can open our .pdf files. Thousands of individuals across the tri state area have taken our courses over and over again. We love to teach classes and love to educate others about jewelry, design, and the products.
