ABOUT US
 The Potomac Bead Company first opened its doors in November of 2005 with a store in downtown Hagerstown Maryland. The company now has two stores... the original in Hagerstown, as well as a second in Chambersburg, PA. Both locations provide an extensive selection of all components requisite for making one's own jewelry. This includes gemstones, glass, sterling silver, findings, wire, tools, displays, books, and more. Beyond custom designing, the PBC staff provide customers with over 30 different classes for making an array of different styles of jewelry. The Potomac Bead Company custom designs jewelry for many customers, but is especially interested in teaching, educating, and training an entirely new generation of self-sufficient beaders entirely capable of making beautiful jewelry.
The Potomac Bead Company is has recently completed a large project to bring the entire store inventory to the internet. With the capability of selling over 3000 products online, customers can now shop from the comfort of their own home. Because entering products into our web database and taking photos of each takes an enormous amount of time, dozens if not hundreds of new products will added every week, so keep checking back with us to see what is new. The nature of our inventory is also so large and constantly changing to some degree, that we cannot offer every product online. We encourage you to visit one of our stores to shop from the entire selection!
The Potomac Bead Company has also begun wholesale offers to smaller bead stores and designers. Items currently available for wholesale include lampwork, cat's eye, pearls, and gemstones. For more information on wholesale, please contact us. Beyond wholesale, special offers are made to small customers as well. Volume discounting offers 5% off any purchase of $100 or more, 15% off any purchase of $250 or more, and 20% off of any purchase of $500 or more. To receive this discount in the store, just mention it. Call for details on purchases in excess of $1000.
